Save The Date: New Jersey Library Trustee Institute

The New Jersey State Library in partnership with the New Jersey Library Trustee Association and the New Jersey Library Association is proud to present the 8th Trustee Institute Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 8:30 to 4:00 at the Sheraton Eatontown.

The conference will feature a keynote address, eight (8) breakout sessions on a variety of trustee-related topics, and a plenary session on library law. There will be a reception and networking after the conference.

The New Jersey State Library will once again pay for one trustee from every library (up to 200 individual libraries) to attend the conference.  We encourage your library to send additional trustees, directors, and library commissioners at the very reasonable conference fee of $75.00 each.

Registration will take place online and we will notify you in the spring of 2012, when it is time to register. A small block of rooms have been reserved the night before the conference for $108/room. Reservations must be made on your own by calling the Sheraton Eatontown at 732-542-6500.

For those of you coming down the night before, encourage you to join NJLTA the evening of June 1, 2012 for a special pre-conference trustee reception.  Our guest of honor will be Sally G. Reed, Executive Director of ALA’s ALTAFF.
